Black Cat(s) Blue Sea

Black Cats Fishing illustration Inkscape

I’m honored to receive black cat blue sea award from one great new blogger Alicyana. I thank her for nominating me and recommend all of you to check out her blog. She have really sweet posts. 🙂

The rules of the award:

1. Anybody nominated can nominate eight other bloggers.

2. The nominee answers three questions posed by the nominee.

3. The questions you ask while nominating can only be three questions.

4. If any of the questions asked are offensive or the nominee simply does not want to answer, the nominee does not have to answer them to earn the award.

So here are the questions from Alicyana:

1. Where are you from? – I’m from Estonia! 😀

2. What is your hobbies? – Drawing, reading, walking and thinking too much about the bad thing what are happening in the world. I am going to change the last one.

3. What is your dream? – My biggest dream is that one day I could create artwork that make world the better place.

I know that I should follow the rules, but it wouldn’t be me if I would do this. 😀 And I simply can’t choose eight people from so many wonderful bloggers. So here are my three questions and I hope that all of you who’ll pop in gonna leave their answers in comments. 🙂

1. Do you believe that black cats bring bad luck?

2. Can you swim?

3. What do you think, how the story in this picture with these cats and the fish will end?

And little about that picture. It’s the first drawing I made in Inkscape (more than three years ago) when I didn’t have a clue how this works and I just played little with the program. I thought it would be funny to finally show it to someone (I’m glad I didn’t delete it). Cats and fish have been added today. 🙂

Can’t wait to read your answers.

Cheers! 🙂

Well if allows me here to answer your question no.3 :
(I just can’t stop laughing while describing the ending of black cat’s and fish 😂😂😂😂 pity for cat’s Destiny ) “the poor cat’s will starving but will not jump to pounce the fish to fill his belly , or the poor cat’s will death if the fish changes into giant (shark) and pounce the cat’s to fill his belly “

    1. Sorry I didn’t participated correctly.
And thanks for answering. Though you could answer all three questions. 🙂 But yes, even if I’m also very sad about cats destiny it would be surprising ending if fish eats the cats instead.

  2. I think this picture is awesome for showing your progress in the past couple of years 🙂 Your cats look wonderful, and the sea and clouds, though rough, are still very effective. Being ashamed of older work is a good sign that you’re becoming better at what you’re doing 🙂
    Now to answer your questions:
    1) Absolutely not. Quite the opposite!
    2) Yes, but not all that well.
    3) I’ll go with a happy ending: The cats are lost at see and the fish helps them find their way back to land. They repay him by saving his life when a fisherman tries to catch him and the cats dangle up the line and break the hook. The fisherman decides to go back home and have some broccoli instead 🙂

      1. I love your answers, Dorit! 🙂 The third one could be very interesting story for children’s book. You have great fantasy, you know that? The last line is especially great: “…and have some broccoli instead.” I love stories with happy ending. 🙂 And I think also that black cats bring good luck. 🙂

And thank you! It’s nice to hear that there have been a progress in my artwork. This is very important to me. 🙂

There’s one interesting coinsidence with this post too. I discovered later that 27th October, when I posted this, was Black Cat Day. 🙂
